It was another busy night at Limerick stadium last night with four heats of the ‘Droopys Nidge @ Stud A2 Tri Distance’ getting underway and it was Produce Stake finalist, Ardfert Rooster who made everyone take note with a scorching performance in the final heat of the night.

There was little to separate Deadly Expert and Lassies Gift as the quarter finals of the ‘James Horan Memorial A3/A4 525’ reached its conclusion last night at Galway stadium and as we head into next week’s semi finals, it is still very much all to play for in the hunt for the €4,500 winning prize.

Ballymac Arminta was simply awesome at Shelbourne Park on Saturday night as she, yet again, produced one of the greatest ever performances at the famous Ringsend venue when posting a sensational 29.12 in the semis of the Boylesports Champion Stakes. Run Happy and Wolfe also won their heats in style, but it was Arminta that stole the show.

All eyes were on English Derby third Skywalker Logan as he returned to six bends in the opening round of the Gain Nutrition Corn Cuchulainn 750 at Shelbourne Park on Friday and the Pat Guilfoyle trained son of Tarsna Havana and Sizzling Sarah certainly didn’t disappoint as he set a strong standard in Heat 5.

The feature events on the last night’s Galway program were the four quarter finals of the €4,500 to the winner Corrib Plate and although all for four winners put on sterling efforts, it was the Seamus Fahy trained, Its My Puma who clocked the fastest time of the night in heat 3.
