LAUNCH OF GREYHOUND & PETWORLD GOLDEN MUZZLE

Kindly sponsored by Greyhound and Petworld, the renowned ‘Golden Muzzle A1 550’ will get underway this weekend at Limerick Greyhound stadium.

Offering a winner’s prize of €3,000, the event always attracts top quality greyhounds and last year saw the Declan Byrne trained Crohane Ronnie claim the event, pipping the 2017 Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby winner, Good News by a length in 29.94.

In addition to the ‘Golden Muzzle’, the ‘Peter Magnone Memorial A3 525’ will also get underway on Thursday night. The Donal Cooney trained Lugs Branno claimed the 2018 title, seeing off Panther by three lengths in 28.62.

Both finals are due to be run on Saturday, June 1st and all at Limerick Greyhound Stadium would like to extend their gratitude for the continued sponsorship from ‘Greyhound & Petworld’.
