WILDCAT TO BID FOR A DERBY DOUBLE

Following his impressive victory in Monday’s Eclipse Stakes at Nottingham Kevin Hutton stated that the brilliant English Derby champion will bid to repeat his Derby success next year.

Wildcat got the better of old rival Droopys Verve when winning by a length at Nottingham on Monday in 29.35.

Afterwards Hutton said that the dog will now have a break and then take the same route next year with the Trainers Championship and the Derby. Of course the venue for the Derby has yet to be confirmed but Hutton said that the dog would run in the Derby whether it is run at Nottingham or Central Park.
