Killmacdonagh has bigger targets in her sights at present, but William Hennessy will receive a cheque for €3,000 after his Oaks and International winner claims the bonus as the last standing bitch in the Boylesports Derby after her latest wonderful success.

The bonus for the most successful Owner/ Trained runner will be shared by Lolos Bear and Monbeg Bakayoko. Both were eliminated on Saturday with Ronnie Craven’s Lolos Bear finishing fourth behind Droopys Pension in Heat 3 while Eamon Doyle’s Monbeg Bakayoko finished fourth in the final heat. Both Craven and Doyle will receive €1,000 for the efforts of their charges.

Tiger Reef had already claimed the €2,000 bonus as the Trial Stake winner to go furthest the previous weekend. The only bonus left up for decision is that of the syndicate owned greyhound top go further in the competition.

There are 5 greyhound remaining that fill that criteria and it’s a pretty illustrious list. Indeed, in order to win the bonus, the greyhound in question may need to win the Derby. The five runners are Slippy Cian, Music Toour Ears, Cash is King, Magical Bale and Lenson Bocko.
