The Syndicate Champions League will be open to all registered Syndicates (3 or more members), either owner or trainer trained, running in the Republic of Ireland between 30th March and 29th November 2020. Syndicates must register to be part of the competition and they will be issued with a unique membership number once their registration is complete.
Syndicates with more than one racing greyhound may enter more than once and each greyhound entry will be issued a seperate membership number.

The competition will run from Monday 30th March to Sunday 29th November 2020 inclusive, points will be awarded to participating syndicates during this time period. Syndicates may apply for entry up to Monday 27th July 2020, however no allowance will be made for late entry.
A total prize fund of €15,000 is on offer! The top 5 placed syndicates* after the 29th November closing date will share the prize fund as follows:
1st place - €6,000
2nd place - €3,000
3rd place - €2,500
4th place - €2,000
5th place - €1,500

Participating syndicates and their nominated greyhounds will be awarded points for racing at participating stadia in the Republic of Ireland based on the official race result.
1st place = 10 points
2nd place = 8 points
3rd place = 6 points
4th place = 5 points
5th place = 3 points
6th place = 2 points
Tables will be published regularly through IGB website and social media channels.
Syndicates and their greyhounds may boost their points by receiving bonus points. Bonus points will be awarded under 8 categories:
- Winner of a sweepstake or racing competition with less than 24 starting greyhounds (2 or more races) shall receive 10 additional points
- Winner of a sweepstake or racing competition with more than 24 starting greyhounds (2 or more races) shall receive 15 additional points
- Winners of a Classic racing event shall receive an additional 20 points:
Qualifying Classics include the Open 600 in Shelbourne Park, the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial in Limerick, the Irish Cesarewitch in Mullingar, the Irish Oaks in Shelbourne Park, the National Produce Stakes in Clonmel, the Corn Cuchulainn in Shelbourne Park, the Irish Sprint Cup in Dundalk, the Irish Greyhound Derby in Shelbourne Park, the Juvenile Derby in Shelbourne Park, the Irish Laurels in Curraheen Park, the Irish St. Leger in Limerick and the Irish Grand National in Shelbourne Park
- Greyhounds who have run more than 10 races will be awarded bonus points as follows:
*Between 10 and 12 races in the SCL period, they shall receive an additional 25 points
*Between 13 and 15 races in the SCL period, they shall receive a further 5 points (total 30 bonus points)
*Between 16 and 18 races in the SCL period, they shall receive a further 5 points (total 35 bonus points)
*Between 19 and 21 races in the SCL period, they shall receive a further 5 points (total 40 bonus points)
*More than 22 races in the SCL period, they shall receive a further 5 points (total 45 bonus points)
